For the Citrus Syrup (makes 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
Ingredients for the Cocktail (makes 850ml, serving 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach liqueur

Directions
Making the Syrup: Put the listed components in a saucepan, bring to a gentle boil, mixing until the sugar dissolves. Then, turn off the stove and leave to reach room temperature entirely. Decant to a clean bottle, close it and store chilled, where it will keep for around four weeks.
For the Cocktail Base: Combine the specified liquid ingredients in a big jug, let it rest for one hour, then filter it best through cheesecloth, making it completely strained.
To serve: Measure 85ml of your premix into your mixing glass packed with ice, and agitate lightly for about 60 seconds until cold. Strain to a chilled martini glass or a similar vessel, garnish with a few cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a brief mist with the mandarin essence over the top.
